About John Ross

John B. Ross II, N.C.I. D. Q. cert #13190, has been practicing Interior and Architectural Design for nearly 37 years. He was certified by the National Council of Interior Design Qualification 27 years ago. While John specializes in historic preservation, his career has included a wide range of design including residential, commercial, and retirement communities.


John has provided numerous services for his clients including space planning, furniture and finish selection and purchase, room re-design, and staging. Additionally, his projects have included Hibernia Mansion, Hibernia County Park, the Webb House, and the ticket-purchasing area at Longwood Gardens. He has worked on a variety of private residences in Chester, Berks, and Montgomery Counties, the Main Line, and even Hawaii.


John is consistently involved in his community and serves on the Greystone Society Property Management Board (Luken’s Iron & Steel National Historic District, Coatesville), The Friends of Hibernia (as a co-founder and former President) as well as the Coatesville Façade Committee, Coatesville Historic Commission, Steering Committee for The MetroCoatesville History Project. John is also a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, The Smithsonian, and The Philadelphia Museum of Art.


About Jeff Deacon

Jeff Deacon’s experience includes working in visual design and display. He graduated from Millersville University, where he studied History and Art History. Jeff has utilized his background to incorporate historic and antique items into home decor. He specializes in acquiring just the right pieces for particular projects. His knowledge of architectural design elements and historic features contributes to creating a cohesive design.


Jeff has volunteered with the Coatesville Historic Commission since 2011. He organized the historic Pop Up Museum for the city’s Centennial Celebration in 2015, including the Uncommon Modern Photography Exhibit by Betsy Manning after it was shown in Philadelphia and Harrisburg.


Jeff has also participated in exhibiting at other historic events in the Coatesville Area. He has also been involved in historic preservation through the MetroCoatesville History Project and the 2nd Century Alliance. It’s not unusual to find Jeff gathering artifacts for the future Coatesville Museum and documenting local architecture for the community.
